A Masterclass in Contemporary Luxury at Bungalow 5 Our recent 9-week stay at Bungalow 5 was nothing short of exceptional. While many island rentals lean toward traditional décor, our newly remodeled residence stands in a class of its own, offering a sophisticated, contemporary aesthetic that rivals the world’s top boutique hotels. The photos on the website have not yet been updated at the time of this posting, as the refurnishing just took place this past February and March 2026 by us, the owners. Since we spend at least 12 weeks in our bungalow during the year, we have made every effort to provide the most comfortable and beautiful one-bedroom bungalow not just for us, but for our valued guests, as well. High-End Italian Design & Modern Comfort The interior is a testament to refined taste, featuring a curated collection of high-end Italian furniture throughout. From the soft leather sectional seating with adjustable backrests and sculptural console in the living room to the minimalist elegance of the bedroom, every piece feels intentional and luxurious. The bedroom has the most comfortable Avocado premium mattress and bedding and there is even a small desk in the bedroom that doubles as a cosmetic area, equipped with a lighted magnified make-up mirror. You will especially appreciate the Italian Artemide bedside pendant lights that can be controlled and dimmed from each nightstand. A true highlight is the electronic adjustable-height ceramic table that we installed in the kitchen bordering the living room. It serves seamlessly as a sleek food prep station when raised and a high-end dining table and a comfortable ergonomic workspace when lowered. It is a perfect feature for those who need to balance relaxation with a bit of remote productivity. Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Living The transition from the living area to the spacious lanai is effortless. The lanai is furnished with a contemporary, comfortable outdoor sectional sofa with ottoman, spacious round dining table with swivel rocker chairs and a high-performance grill. It is our favorite spot to enjoy the panoramic view of the 4th green. The lush greenery, beautiful landscaping, flowers and quiet atmosphere provide the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Unbeatable Location & Amenities Location-wise, Bungalow 5 is the most private at the end of the lighted walkway and ideally situated. It is just a short, pleasant walk to the world-class amenities at The Club. Whether you are heading to the spa, hitting the pickleball and tennis courts, or enjoying the fitness center, pools and dining areas, everything is remarkably accessible. The residents, guests and staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. For anyone looking for a Kauai getaway that combines the amenities of a premier resort with the cutting-edge design of a one-bedroom, modern Italian villa, we recommend our Bungalow 5. Deposit
• Your deposit policy will depend on the rate booked.
• For Christmas/New Years (12/19-1/4) booking, we will take a 25% non-refundable deposit
inclusive of tax at time of booking.
Remaining Balance
• For non-festive travel dates: Will automatically be charged on credit card provided 30 days
prior to arrival.
• Festive travel dates: Will automatically be charged on credit card provided 120 days prior to
arrival.
Cancellation Terms
• Travel dates 1/5-12/18: 31 days or more notification prior to arrival, deposit will be refunded.
• Travel dates 12/19-1/4: Less than 120 days notification prior to arrival, full reservation value
will be forfeited/no refunds.
• For stays of 21 nights or more: Cancellation within 60 days of arrival: Full forfeiture of
reservation value, no refunds
Pet Policy
It is important to understand that the state of Hawaii has strict protocols when it comes to
bringing animals to Hawaii. There are quarantine requirements, health certificates, and
other forms that must be completed prior to travel. The Lodge at Kukui'ula does not allow
pets for guest stays. Certified service animals are allowed and must be registered on
property.

• All Reservations will be assessed a $150 reservation fee and 15% destination fee
plus taxes. (*Resort fee inclusions listed below)
• A non-refundable Damage Waiver fee of $149, plus tax if applicable, will be applied
to the total cost of your reservation. This will cover the costs of any accidental

• If considering using the spa facilities, understand there is a $125/day fee per guest.
This fee includes access to the private lap pool, sunning area, locker rooms, all
